Sir John Hurt Film Trust

The Sir John Hurt Film Trust is an inspiring charity which aims to promote great cinema in Norfolk through providing education, nurturing future filmmakers and promoting film screenings across the country.

We were approached by Lady Anwin Hurt to refresh the brand and identity of the Trust. The new logo uses Sir John Hurt’s signature for a deeply personal touch and the name of the Trust incorporates fonts used in the original logo. A high contrast of black and white is used to mirror the look of black and white films and the sense of darkness when the lights go down in the cinema.
